Nigel Brown, the Chef, was our guest speaker for the September meeting. He demonstrated a recipe from his book – N. B. How to Cook. Everyone agreed his Poached Salmon with Mushroom Sauce was absolutely delicious. He also demonstrated the making of fresh pasta, unfortunately, he had mistakenly used all of the salmon in his first dish, so we were unable to enjoy his handmade ravioli.
It was a fun evening with lost of tips which Nigel passed on to the members. All agreed that the evening was very successful and everyone enjoyed themselves.
