The Annual Meeting was held on 2 March 2016 when members heard all the usual reports and Annual meeting business. Mavis Reade was elected President for the coming year. Caroline Drakes had taken the Fish and Chip order and fetched the food from Brigg. It has now become something of a tradition for our Annual Meeting.
At the meeting members agreed to take part in 'Clean for the Queen' which is being organised countrywide to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday in April. A group of our ladies met on a very chilly wintry afternoon on 5 March and did a litter pick around the village and also swept out the brick bus shelter. 19 bags of litter were collected the most popular item being drink cans and a lot of energy drink bottles - although obviously not enough to put them in a bin!!
