Bonby Fun Day was revived this year after several years absence. The main event was organised by Nik Smith, Sarah Harriman and Richard Smith. The W.I. were asked if they would organise a cake stall and also a book stall. Several of our ladies helped out on the two stalls. There were some delicious tray bakes, cookies etc., a really good display. At the end of the afternoon we had made almost £80 which was to be split between the W.I. and the Village Hall. A big 'thank you' to all those ladies who supplied cakes etc and to those who helped man the stalls.
All in all it was a lovely afternoon, the weather could have been slightly warmer but every one seemed to enjoy the games and singing. The children enjoyed the bouncy castles. The Fish and Chip van was also a popular attraction.
